A week ago today I had the immense pleasure of hosting my third annual hijulez Garden Party! I wanted to take this opportunity to thank a few people...
Firstly, a big thank you to Virtuous Pie who SO KINDLY sponsored the event with all of the vegan pizza possible. Thank you so much we absolutely devoured it!!! 35 pizzas gone in under 5 hours BOOM.
Thank you so much to Emily Fawkes for being an angel sent from the heavens (and for also making all the sweet treats that were at the party! Did you get a chance to try the lemon bars she made???????? How in the heck does she make the best vegan treats I've ever seen? scope @efawksey on IG to see her insane baking.)
A big thank you to my sweet bean of a friend from Greece, Miss Chrysi Mazniki. Thank you for flying halfway across the world to come and goof around with me and make things in my basement. I am so lucky to have you as a lifelong friend and I cannot wait until I see you next!
I would also like to shout out my incredibly supportive parents, Joanne and Trevor. Without them, the Garden Parties would have not been possible. Thank you SO much mom and dad, I love you both so much and am so grateful for you.
To Meg and Jordan, the best employees this girl has ever known! Thank you so much for all of your hard work and positivity. You both have made these past few months an absolute blast! Best wishes to Meg who is headed back to university in Toronto and to Jordan who just got a kickass full time job OW OW!
Last but not least thank you to everyone who came out to the Garden Party!!!! This year and in years past! Thank you so much to my family, my friends, my Instagram followers/people I have yet to meet IRL for all of your continued support! THIS GIRL seriously can not thank you enough. Waking up in the morning and being able to spend my day creating art is a dream come true, and I would not be able to do it without all of your encouragement and support. I am so grateful and I hope to continue doing this for many many years to come!!!!!
