One-of-a-kind, 100% dead stock silk scarves, naturally dyed with botanicals from Julie's garden!
Each scarf is prepared in a 3-day process. First, the silks are soaked in mordant before dyeing for 2 days. Then, as the silk is being prepared, plants are gathered by hand, separated, and de-stemmed or seeded where necessary. On Day 3, plant matter is carefully rolled into the silk, creating special bundles ready to be steamed. After almost 3 hours in the steamer, they are removed. They are washed, dried, ironed, and photographed for the store!
They are the perfect necktie, hair accessory, bandana, tote-bag bow. Colors created using:
Indigo, cherry blossoms, camellia petals, marigolds, mint, rhododendrons, tulips and lilacs!

All of our goods are either handmade by Julez and are sustainably printed and embroidered in Vancouver, British Columbia through ethical means.
Each piece was sourced in either Paris, Florence or Vancouver and was selected for their quality fabrics and craftsmanship. These pieces are then reworked, embroidered, dyed and otherwise upcycled to ensure their longevity.

All orders will be sent out within 2 weeks of being placed for made to order items and one week for one of a kind pieces that are finished. All items are sent via Canada Post. Depending on your location, it could be anywhere from one to three weeks for it to be delivered to you. Local (Vancouver) pick-up is always available at your leisure and can be organized through email Julie@hijulez.com
All embroidered HiJulez goods are guaranteed to last a lifetime. If the embroidery on your item unravels or is otherwise damaged, we will happily repair your item! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange your repair. Other HiJulez goods have a thirty-day exchange and return window. The customer is liable for shipping costs, and all returns/exchanges can be organized through email. If you are unsure of sizing or product details, please reach out and we will happily assist you in finding your perfect fit! Items are only accepted for returns/exchanges if the item is unworn, unwashed and still has its tags on!
